Since January 2021, ASCII Media Works has been serializing the light novel under the Dengeki Bunko banner; nine volumes have been released to date. A manga featuring Kamelie’s illustrations for the series was also serialized in Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine.

As previously stated, the official staff declared that Danjo no Yujo wa Seiritsu Suru, also known as Can a Boy-Girl Friendship Hold Up? The movie Iya, Shinai!! will be out in 2025. But a precise release date was not specified. Furthermore, important details like the cast and crew weren’t disclosed.

They live in a little village where people live in peace and without much happening. Himari believes that Yu must accept responsibility if she is unable to find love. But eventually, Yu’s first love makes a comeback to the community, throwing the boy’s relationship with Himari for a loop.
